The Lamborghini Urus is one of the craziest cars launched in recent years, and it’s also one of the best-selling luxury SUVs right now. Lamborghini has made over 20,000 of them which is absolutely crazy considering that the Urus is not a cheap car. In fact, a new Urus will set you back $225,500 which is absolutely ridiculous. However, on the used market due to shortages and high demand, prices are far higher. In some cases, a whole $100,000 more.
The Urus is based on the same platform as the likes of the Bentley Bentayga V8 and the Audi RSQ8. Two other luxury performance cars are crushing it in sales. The Urus though has more power than those two cars, and it also handles a lot better than its sibling cars.

It’s Probably The Craziest Looking SUV On Sale Today
The Urus is an absolutely crazy-looking SUV. The whole design language is inspired by Lamborghini’s other models such as the Huracan and Aventador. The front of the car is very aggressive and angular with two distinctive creases going into the hood. One of the most noticeable features of the front bumper is the headlights which feature the distinctive Lamborghini “Y” style. It does look absolutely massive and it sure is very aggressive.
The side of the car includes quite a few design features too. Probably the most noticeable feature is the sloping roofline which makes the SUV more of a coupe SUV. This makes the car look so much more aggressive like a Lamborghini. You also get a side-vent on the car which is fake. On some models, the fender flares are in gloss black which makes the car stand out immensely especially with bold colors.
At the rear, the Urus is very tall. The diffuser is massive and you can get it in carbon fiber if you wish. The rear lights are very similar to the ones used on the Huracan as they are very angular. There are also a pair of fake vents at the rear which attempt to make the rear of the car even more aggressive.
Overall, the Urus is a very muscular car that will attract attention everywhere it goes. No other SUV looks like the Urus whatsoever, so it makes the car truly one of a kind. The design is one of the reasons why the Urus is so popular since it is so outlandish. However, you have to spec this car right because if you don’t then the car will look awful.
The Interior Is Very Luxurious
The Urus includes an incredible interior that matches the incredible exterior. It’s very practical, but you’d expect that since it is at the end of the day a large SUV. Most cars have a 5-seat configuration, though Lamborghini weirdly offered a 4-seat configuration too.
The dashboard is very angular with a lot of sharp edges. Just like you’d expect in any Lamborghini model of today. The steering wheel is a very thin yet sturdy-looking thing that includes a polished 12 o’clock ring on there which makes the car feel more special.
You get a digital driver display on board with mostly cool Lamborghini graphics, though there are some Audi graphics in there too. The paddle shifters are metal and they look awesome. Overall, the driving position is very comfortable despite being quite high. However, most people nowadays want a high-riding car so Lamborghini has done this.
The build quality is excellent, but this is mainly due to Audi. There are some plastics inside including Audi switchgear for indicators etc. In the middle, you get two touchscreens including one for climate control. Below this, are the controls of the car for engine start/stop, drive modes, and more. It’s a little messy though it does look cool.
The entertainment display looks a little old nowadays due to the borders on either side of the horizontal screen. It’s very easy to use since it is an Audi system and the response time is very fast. No issues there whatsoever.
The seats are very luxurious and if you opt for higher quality leathers it will change the car massively. The patterns on the seat too are hexagonal which goes well with the rest of the interior in the car.
