What Cars Are We Most Excited About In 2022?

Lamborghini Aventador successor to keep V12 but add hybrid punch | Autocar

The year 2022 is finally here, and it’s already off to a flying start. Many car companies have already announced and released their latest creations. It’s a year that will be packed full of supercars, SUVs, electric cars, and trucks.

Last year was a great year for cars. Some of our favorites from 2021 do include the Lamborghini Huracan STO, Tesla Model S Plaid, The Porsche GT3, and the new Rolls Royce Ghost. The year 2022 has a lot to live up for them since last year was such a good year for cars. Luckily it does.

Many people have spoken out already about 2022 cars last year, but now the new year is here the whole arena has changed. In all honesty, just like last year and the year before many cars are coming out later in the year that we currently do not know about.

Here are the cars we are most excited about in 2022.

Aston Martin V12 Vantage

Final Aston Martin V12 Vantage coming in 2022—hear it now

In 2009, one of the greatest cars ever was launched. The V12 Vantage. It featured a 510hp 420 lb-ft of torque 5.9 liter V12 from the DBS. The V12 Vantage was made up until 2018 when the first generation Vantage ended production. We thought that would be the last of the V12 monsters. Until now.

The second-generation Vantage already has a fantastic engine under the hood, a 4.0 AMG V8. That engine has over 500hp, around the same as the previous V12 Vantage. It’s powerful enough and it makes the Vantage a very fast car. However, Aston Martin has decided to shove in a V12 from the DB11 under the hood.

That engine itself has over 600hp in the DB11. However, the V12 Vantage will have around 650hp which is crazy. This car then will be a 911 Turbo S rival or a Mclaren Artura rival. It will do a 0-60 time of I reckon close to 3 seconds and flat out way over 200 mph.

The V12 Vantage will also include different bumpers, larger alloys and it will also look a tad wider. It is a seriously aggressive car but at the same time, it is timeless. Effortlessly classy.

This is a very special car but it’s also quite sad. When the original V12 Vantage was quite a bittersweet car as many people believed that no such car like the V12 Vantage would ever be produced again. Well, thirteen years on we’re here in the same position again. It’s a bittersweet moment. This will be the last V12 Vantage ever, full stop. The next Vantage will probably be electric too so this car truly is special.

Mercedes C63 AMG

New Mercedes-AMG C63 hybrid revealed in exclusive renderings: price, specs and release date | carwow

The W206 Mercedes C63 AMG will be the first-ever C63 to not be fitted with a V8. It will instead be fitted with a 4-cylinder unit from the A45. It will also have a battery onboard which is a first too. The total power output is reported to be way around 650 hp. The petrol engine produces 449hp and the electric motor produces 204hp. The 0-60 time will also be well under 4 seconds.

In my opinion, I am quite sad that the new C63 won’t have a V8 under the hood. The V8 is what defined this car and put it on the map. It’s aggressive and angry plus it is packed full of soul. This new 4-cylinder battery setup may be tuned to sound good but at the end of the day, it won’t capture some of the magic that these V8 engines have.

Nevertheless, this will be far more powerful than the current squirrel-faced G80 M3. Plus, it will have an all-wheel-drive system which means the grip will be immense. Unfortunately, boot space will be reduced due to the electric motor and battery pack.

I really can’t wait for this car. I want to know whether or not AMG has managed to make something that on paper sounds disappointing, be exciting in real life. The engine is world-class and in all honesty, it doesn’t sound too bad. Just a 2 liter C63 doesn’t sound too great.

It will look fantastic on the outside and inside. The interior of the new C-Class is world-class and AMG knows how to make aggressive-looking cars.

Mercedes AMG One

Mercedes-AMG One - Wikipedia

The second AMG on this list, but it’s completely different from any other AMG ever made. The AMG One is a very completed car that has been developed by the likes of Lewis Hamilton. The One features the same 1.6-liter hybrid V6 that Lews gets in his championship-winning Formula One car.

F1 engines do not like real life. Hence why it has taken years for the AMG boffins to ensure that the engine meets strict European emission standards, is reliable, and is idle at 1200 pm. All of this on paper doesn’t sound too hard but when your working with an F1 engine, it’s almost impossible.

This car hits 124 mph in six seconds. That’s the same time a hot-hatchback would take to hit 60. The 0-60 time for the One is around under 2.5 seconds. Some report that it will be under 2 seconds. This is probably the closest you will get to a true F1 car for the road. It even uses F1-inspired aerodynamics and an F1-inspired steering wheel.

It’s a proper halo car that will inspire many future Mercedes and Mercedes AMG models in the future.

BMW M3 Touring

2022 BMW M3 Touring spied ahead of reveal | evo

The M3 Touring is a very good-looking car. Now, it does have the same grille as the G80 sedan yet it doesn’t look as bad. The large grille does somewhat suit the estate body. For years, many enthusiasts have been building their M3 estates since BMW has never built an M3 estate.

It’s strange that since both the Rs4 and C63 were produced in estate form. The M3 though never has been. However, due to global enthusiast interest, BMW has finally decided to make an M3 touring (estate). It will feature the same 500+ horsepower 6-cylinder twin-turbo unit as the standard M3. It will probably have similar performance figures too. The only difference is, the noise will slightly be more echoed due to the estate body.

There isn’t much else to say bout this car. Apart from the fact that it will be one of the best-looking estates around plus it will be very wide at the rear. It may just even topple sedan sales for the M3.

Lamborghini Aventador Replacement.Lamborghini Aventador successor to keep V12 but add hybrid punch | Autocar

This is the most exciting car of 2022. We don’t know anything about it at all. Well apart from the fact that it will feature a V12 and an electric motor which means it will be ridiculously fast. Maybe over 1000hp. It will also feature a double-clutch gearbox which is a first for a V12 Lamborghini flagship.

It will be 11 years since the Aventador came out in 2022, but does the car even look that old? Not at all. the design of the Aventador has stood the test of time. Unfortunately, though, its gearbox and interior were dated even eleven years ago. So they’re beyond dinosaur technology nowadays. The replacement though will feature an all-new interior and gearbox to bring it back into the 21st century.

This will be a key rival for cars like the Ferrari SF90. However, it does have a lot to prove since the Aventador was such a good car. Expect the new replacement to look similar to the Sian with the new lights at the front. The price of it will probably be well over $500,000 new.

Some people have already seen the replacement. However, most people like us have not and we cannot wait to see it. It truly will be a very special car and it will also be the new poster car for all teenagers etc around the world.
